Water Series
The Water Series is a deep look at the movement, shapes, color, and design of water from a close-up perspective. The paintings intersect the realities of water qualities and an abstraction of interpretation. For me water is the life force and a precious resource for our very exsistence. The paintings play on the metaphor of human qualities: looking below the surface of our emotions and thoughts, examining the reflections of our surroundings and the ripple effects of our actions. I play with various brushes and layers of paint to create the rich mesmerizing surfaces.
